The verdict
This stuff smells amazing and is wonderful for slicking back edges. It is very moisturizing and the scent is like an orange Creamsicle. The price is very economical as well. 5/5 stars.

There's pretty much nothing that can make my hair "curl..." and since 2003 I've pretty much tried everything out there. However, your "before" pic - the front of your hair reminds me of mine with no product in it. So now I'm tempted to try this, even though summer is pretty much over and I don't really do w & g's. LOL!
ReplyDeleteHave you tried Kinky Curly Curling Custard?
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried KCCC as of yet. I think I gave up on my quest for "curly" hair before I got to that product. I read that you have to use the Knot Today leave in to get the best results. I knew that would be two prodcuts for me to buy. I may purchase for future use when I get some extra $$.
ReplyDeleteThat looks very Nice :D How did you get this look? Was it a wash and go? Is this the only product you used?
ReplyDeleteKCCC is the best curl definition product I have every used. Unfortunately, it left my hair a bit crispy, so in the end I gave up on it.
ReplyDeleteSophie,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliment! To achieve this look I put a little dollop of the Curly Custard in my hand, rubbed them together, and smoothed my front and edges with my hands. I used some nylon pantie hose to secure my puff, and then put a more fashionable headband on top of that. That is all!
I am wary of using brushes, so I didn't use one. It would have been even better maybe if I did!
Hope that helps!
Charz
Your hair looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you Shay!
ReplyDeleteWow... This is all I needed to see, I'm ordering this like yesterday
ReplyDeleteHi, did u have to use a leave-in conditioner below this? Or can you put it on freshly washed hair as it is already moisturizing?
ReplyDeleteI put it on freshly washed hair, because it has many moisturizing ingredients in it already. Its a marriage between a leave-in and a styler.
ReplyDeleteHTH
Sooo..I shall be ordering this soon then..I just put in an order for her butters..definitely liking how it made you curls pop..next batch it will be mine! stay tuned
ReplyDeleteI used this KCC and it did give my hair curl definition. However, it dried hard. Maybe hard is too strong of a word. Let's go with stiff as opposed to soft. I am looking for a product that will give me curl definition and wavy when I want. Any suggestions.
